Getting Involved

Munlochy Hall is a charity, run by Munlochy Hall Management Committee. The Committee consists of volunteers, elected at the annual A.G.M in May. The members are Chairperson, Vice-chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer, and Bookings Secretary.

Each local club using the hall on a regular basis is entitled under the Constitution to nominate up to two representatives to join the committee.

Meetings are held at 7pm in the Hall on the last Tuesday of every month (excluding July and December). The purpose of the Committee is to ensure the continued viability of the Hall for Munlochy residents and also those further afield.

This involves keeping the Hall to the required standard to meet users expectations and health and safety requirements; to bring in sufficient funds to carry out any neccessary refurbishment, upgrading and replacement of facilities and to ensure that all hall running costs are met ie. heating, lighting, cleaning, maintenance and repair.

Essentially, the Hall Committee tries to maintain a much valued and essential hub for the Munlochy Community which can be passed on to future generations.
