History
Munlochy Hall has been in community use since the late 1800's. It served as a drill hall for the Territorial Army and the regular army.
Hall Opening - 1970
In 1970, the Munlochy Community fundraised and purchased the Hall for local use, at a cost of £2500. The hall was purchased by the community in 1970 and held an opening ceremony.
In 2001, the Hall underwent a major refurbishment, following the Hall Committee's successful applications to the Lottery Commission, The Highland Council and Highlands & Highlands Enterprise. It has continued to be used as a village and community hall.

The hall has been the hub of the local community with a variety of local groups and clubs using the hall, including badminton, youth club, children's nursery and country dancing. A full list of the current regular bookings can be seen in the section Clubs and Groups.
The hall is also the home of Munlochy Pre-School Centre, and the venue for all gym classes and Christmas Shows for Munlochy Primary School.
